New site, X-post testing

I’ve got a completely new setup on my dusty old vanity site, www.devvyn.com. I used to hate the tedious process of uploading a song or image, then editing the HTML code in the relevant file on the server to include the appropriate link (which meant careful checking of the page in the browser). That’s my excuse for neglecting what could be a central resource for collaborations with other artists. So, the new system has a gallery and a blog I (and others) can sign in to. No more hand coding!
If I’ve done this right so far, this post should be showing up in LiveJournal in some fashion. If this works, the next step is to start uploading juicy content and see who wants to work with me on image and audio collaborations.

You bet! Once I get the gallery set up (http://www.devvyn.com/gallery2 for now) it will be easy for us both to post via the web pages there. If it will let you, go ahead and sign up for a gallery account and test it out!

Do you think you could point me to where I could find your music? I can’t seem to find ANY of it. I’m looking for FlagofEveryColour specifically…but whatever you feel like tossing out there – that’s fine.

I took it all down from this site in preparation for doing it properly. However, when I google “Devvyn Murphy” I find a few sites redistributing my stuff.
I’m going to re-upload all of it in the days to come but is there a specific song or two you were thinking of working on?

I mostly just want to smash the proverbial wine bottle against the ship that is this website. But I don’t know what wines are good for smashing, so I’ll do it in song.

I think sparkling wine is an appropriate choice for a real ship christening because it’s got a nice, crazy, foaming effext when the bottle breaks. The cheapest wine is a prudent choice unless you have extremely judgemental, rich acquainances to impress.
However, proverbial wine in this context is relatively free of cost and the sparkles are already a given.

I was going to remove the spam but I won’t now because I like your reply. And yes, it was spam, because I got the email bounce for the deactivated gmail account.
